“Using the new tools you’ve taught us has helped me start to live a less stressful and more peaceful life. Thank you for being such an inspiration.”

“I have been telling myself a story from an experience I had recently that I was feeling bad about, and trying to understand and justify myself, when I realized the wound – not feeling good enough. It hit me hard in a good way, and I felt the conflict within myself dissipate and what was left was a peacefulness that I am so much more than this story, and it so doesn’t matter.”
– M., NY, USA
“Last week, I was putting myself under too much pressure. Today, I met Nicole and within the first fifteen minutes, she was able to help me see a particularly unhelpful story I was telling myself.
Stories are important but when the ones we keep telling ourselves prevent us from moving forward or making us miserable it may be time for some Unstorying™.”
– S., Ireland

“As a transitioning teacher, I sought out the support of Dr. Miller to help with my career goals through two ‘Minding the Story’ workshops. In a small group of three career transitioners, Dr. Miller facilitated a warm, introspective experience where we were asked to describe who we are without using adjectives. This was a really tricky experience because at this point in my life, it is ‘who am I’ that I am trying to discover. Dr. Miller gently guided our group to think about the story or character we have created in order to tap into who we truly are inside our true essence.
I am much more equipped to see the stories and characters at play in my life, and through the ‘Unstorying’ process, Dr. Miller has opened up an opportunity for me to confront these stories and characters, so that I am living in the story or character that is aligned with my true self. I look forward to continuing this work.”
